Park and Pool

My sisters-in-law are amazing. Period. Not only did they let me take a nap, they took my kids to the park... and took pictures! Judging from the pictures, Derek had a great time. He loves the park, so can't really go wrong with that. :) When everyone got home, I was just waking up and the kids STILL had energy to burn, so we (Liz) blew up the inflatable pool and filled 'er up! Bryce was napping, so he didn't get to play, but the other two babies were adorable!

I love this shot and Andrew's cape. "Sorry, humans, my home world is calling!"

Isn't she gorgeous?! I love how Lanae is totally rocking this candid shot.

Heck yes, Preston. Papa needs an apprentice gardener.

*Hear Phantom of the Opera music* DUUUN! dundundundunduuuuuun. DUUN!! dundundundundun....dun-dun! In sleep he sang to me...

I can't believe I have two kids so completely opposite of one another. His blue eyes still surprise me. :)

Round and round and round we go!

Derek loves helping. Savvie was just as enthusastic.

 Ready, set, GO!

Pirate Logan (see his hook?) hiding with the "lost boys."

Uh-oh.... here comes the big bad monster!

The kids loved "killing the monster" over and over again

Pretty petals!

Love that color on Savanna!

This is why we kept trying to keep Preston from playing at the bottom of the slide. CRASH!

Apparently, the water in the pool is fine, but sprinklers are just not cool.

 Head first, little daredevil!

Love action shots, especially when the kids have faces like that. :)

Perot....Again!!

Can you tell we LOOOOOOVE this museum!! It was so neat to discover exhibits that we hadn't seen yet and even better to share it with our family. The kids had a blast and, as you'll see in a second, so did the adults! Nana, Aunt Amy and Danny even popped over to say hi and hang out with us for the last half of the museum. Tammy, Lanae, Sereen, Liz and I brought all the grandkids and we still needed Mom, Amy and Danny to help corral the kids. WHEW!  Seriously like herding cats. We ended up leaving the museum happy and tired and STILL had pieces of it we didn't get to because of all the people who decided today was a great day to go to the museum too.

Alamosaurus

Derek and Logan hung out under the Alamosaurus while I tried to figure out how many tickets I had reserved online. I got all tangled up doing it online.

Preston kept busy trying to persuade Emeri to share her binki.

A cool new rubber band catapult exhibit. Preston was particularly thrilled with how far the little balls went.

Can you imagine if there were FOUR of her! She sure does love the baby in the mirror.

 Precious Petite Pretty Princess!

Derek made his own "snowcone." He's too smart for his own good.

Bryce tries so hard to keep up with Emeri. He'll be crawling soon!

Grandma, a water table and toys - makes Preston's day every time!

This must be what it felt like to film Jurassic Park!

 Nana has a mammoth halo!

My favorite pterasaur - the Quetzlcoatlus! It's the size of a small plane - and hanging right over my head!

I hope his feet never get that big

Derek and Logan ran a great race against a cheetah!

Lanae and Liz raced the T. Rex! Both were eaten... I mean, beaten. ;)

Some cool audio tester thing in the physical sports hall

A cool tornado exhibit! It was fun to cover the different holes and see how lack of or concentrated air made or dissapated a tornado. Cool beans!

Amy makes a pretty good weather forecaster!

This was my favorite exhibit of the day. Amy and I took turns forecasting weather and I did really well - maybe I should be a meteorologist. Lol.

So tired at the end of a great day!

Sereen's Birthday Bash

Happy birthday, Sereen! We went to BJ's Brewery in Plano to celebrate her birthday. It was fun and so very delicious. I can't express how awesome it was to have dinner without kids. Dang. I have to do that more often. ;) Sereen should have a birthday every week! Lol!!

Tamy brought home this AMAZING cake! Chocolate, strawberries, ganache and whipped cream frosting. My new favorite!

Riding in Papa's Trailer

Derek's favorite part of the weekend: riding in Papa's trailer. He loves riding on Papa's tractor (lawn mower) and getting to ride on the trailer WHILE being pulled by the tractor (lawn mower) was just an amazing experience for him. I couldn't help but take pictures. Don't be fooled by their blank faces... they were clamoring for more when Papa had to hook up the trailer to the truck.

 Loaded up!

Lanae is Here!

Lanae has arrived for the next three weeks! Whoohoo!! Here are a few pictures taken this weekend while we goofed off.
Savvie is eating solid food too!

Singing their favoite song: "Look Down" from Les Mis.

Issac, Derek and Andrew playing NICELY on the Ipad! Hallelujah!

Happy, smiling faces! Andrew is saving lasagna for later. :)

Oh These Boys....

Derek has been such a huge help with Bryce. He's always happy to get a diaper for me, find the binkie (and loves to give it to Bryce), he shares his toys willingly and is so happy to show Bryce his favorites. Yesterday, he graduated to feeding Bryce all on his own. I am so proud of him! He asked a couple times for me to take him, but he stuck with it in the end and had a great time talking to and laughing with his little brother. They are such great friends. Nobody can make Bryce smile like Derek can. It's very apparent that Bryce adores his big brother already. :) Derek is also very tolerant and patient with his little brother. He sometimes gets a smack in the face or gets his hair pulled but he just tells Bryce (in a giggly voice most of the time) to "stop that!"

We told Derek that Mommy has another baby in her belly and he's excited. I think he's starting to understand because he keeps asking about the "other brother." No idea if that means anything; every time I ask him if he wants a brother or a sister, he's split about 50/50. My next sonogram is 23 May, so we might be able to find out the gender... only if it's a boy though. Gender is determined at conception but genitalia can be somewhat formed by the 12th week. I'll be closer to 13 weeks. Heehee. ;) But anyway, on the pictures!

Derek was thrilled to feed Bryce

I absolutely LOVE Bryce's face in this picture. "Are you sure you're qualified for this?!"

 Giggle fest!

Bryce has been doing some impressive push-ups lately.

Not quite crawling yet, but I think he's going to figure it out soon!

I took this picture earlier this morning. I'd love to see someone do a Pinterest post with a funny caption. ;)

Bear ears! But this a three-month-old outfit, so they're more like mouse ears on Bryce. Lol

Derek is mid-sneeze and Bryce has just realized there is hair within reach.

 Caught in the act!

See what I mean about tolerant? Gosh, I love these boys!
