Week with Lanae - Part 1

Oh, what a happy day September 4th was! It was also a very late night. Jeff and Tammy, Lanae and Logan and Liz, Isaac and Andrew all came back to Texas from Loni's wedding in Reno, NV (Congratulations Loni and Malcom!). Liz came in last of all after 10:30 pm. It was so exciting to see them all pile out of the truck (well after midnight) and we all started talking at once. We really missed seeing Sereen, Jared and Austin though.

Derek persuaded Ganka to push him around in the laundry basket. Great fun!

All the boys loved this Thomas the Train push toy. Isaac didn't want to share with Derek.

We got a kick out of putting all the boys in Grandma's soaker tub. It was Liz's idea to add the rubber ducky. ;) Keepin' it PG, folks.

Jeff and Tammy were so excited to get a slide for Derek and Isaac. Isaac was the first one down and took to it like a duck to water. Derek took a little longer.

Here's the true duck-to-water. Derek taught Isaac how to blow bubbles in the pool.

Beautiful mommies and handsome babies

Here's your "O" face, Nana!

We all went to this little park on Cotton Ridge and the boys loved it. It was so fun to see them running around and learning how to climb on the wooden playground towers. Derek and Isaac learned quickly from Liz how to climb up each platform. Thanks Liz! Aunt Lanae was there to catch them at the bottom, too. Thanks Lanae!! Parks sure are handy for tiring little boys out. Too bad they kept waking up before 7 every. single. day. But boy were they cute in the morning.

Swinging time

Such a cute picture!

Future Heart-Breaker of America!

Still working on that sitting upright thing

Liz and Andrew!!

We see you, Logan!

Cool space bubble

Getting off the slide for the 50th time... I think he's getting the hang of this

Isaac needed some assistance down the tall slide. I was more than happy to oblige.

No wonder his nickname is "Sunshine!" Look at that happy little face!

I tried to help the older boys climb on the jungle gym. They'll get it eventually.

This cracked me up! Andrew didn't like the grass on his feet, so he kept this one foot in the air for at least the first five minutes. Just chillin' with his foot in the air!

How else are you going to carry your favorite toy when you crawl?

What studly nephews!! The lego table was a big hit with these boys; especially the matchbox cars hidden inside.

Another nickname for Andrew: Hoover.

Look at that hunk of handsome chunk!!
