Sunday at Nana's House

We were able to go see my Mom and Rick yesterday. Aunt Jenn and Uncle Tim brought their new puppy, Jazmine to visit, too. So stinkin' CUTE!! Ugh. She's a Chug... a Chihuahua and a Pug mix. Isn't that such a fun word? Chug. Chugchugchugchugchug!!! Any train loving kid would be thrilled. And Mom's house is all framed! Wow! So much different than the lot of dirt it was when we was a couple months ago. Crazy how fast it's being built. It was a very quiet ride to and from Roanoke... see?

Naptime is better with friends

Uncle Tim brought something Derek found TERRIFYING (at first)...

Terror, thy name is Chug (Chihuahua/Pug)... well, Jazmine really.

That dino sure was terrified.

Derek got a little jealous...

Derek hasn't liked dogs since we rehomed Lacey. This is the closest he's been to a dog in months.

See you soon Jazzie!

Aw, puppy love!!

Kelly (laptop on the left) and Amy (Ipad on the right) participated via Skype. Thrilled aren't they?

He loved these glasses Nana had!!

Week with Liz - Part 2

Part deux - a really really R.E.A.L.L.Y long post...

Liz wanted to decorate her own cake, since she was here for her birthday (exactly one month before mine!) so Tammy let us come down to the shop one day. We spent three hours trying to make big purple hibiscus flowers with orange basketballs fit onto the cake. Boy did we succeed. That cake couldn't scream Liz any louder, I think. :)

My purple hibiscus kind of turned out more like purple star-nosed moles. :) I suppose that's my own personal touch, haha!

Yay for creativity!

You can totally tell those are basketballs - totally screams Liz, don't you think? :)

Thanks for letting me help you decorate, Liz!

Oh yeah, we're hot.

Liz finally gets to blow out her candles! I swear we must have repeated this at least 5 times because of those silly candles! :)

Even Andrew got into the light sabers

Derek and Isaac Playing (Cute Faces!)

Poor Isaac. His face says it all... Can someone get this guy OFF me so I can go home?!

Andrew had his feet flat on the floor when I grabbed for my camera. Such a funny little guy with his feet clapping!

We took the boys to play frisbee golf. I think they caught the gist of it.

Derek was obsessed. He'd pick up any disc lying on the ground and run it to the basket.

Aw... Ganka and Derek

Loves for Ganka

Look Mom! I found a stick!

Going down the slide at the park

We found this pretty cool swing thingy that totally had us mystified. A young boy hopped on to show us how to sit on the black seat and spin yourself around. That kid made it look so stinkin easy! We all tried it, but I like Jeff's solution best.

I think they liked each other, don't you?

Isaac was obsessed with Derek's dinosaur collection: especially this big one from Uncle Dwight and Aunt Kelly. Isaac, what does the dinosaur say? raaaah *really softly*

Aw, cute!
